EVANGELIZE  those outside God's Will (Acts 16:30-31), NURTURE  them in God's Love (Acts 2:4), TRAIN them in God's Word (2 Timothy 2:15), and COMMISSION  them to do God's Work (Matthew 28:19).

 

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. Matt 28:18-19

 

Jesus gave this command just before He was lifted up in heaven.  It is not a request, but an imperative.  It is what all obedient Christians are to do.  Discipling includes nurturing new believers much the way a mother nurtures a new born baby.  A new Christian needs training so that they are not easly lead astray.  Without proper training in the Word of God a new believer will not accomplish great things for God.  

When believers are nurtured and trained, then they are commissioned to do God's work. Everyone is special to God, because God does not make junk.  God has a plan for your life.  You are one of the parts to God's puzzle, and the picture is not complete until your piece is in it's proper place.

 

To become part of God's puzzle you must first put your trust in His Son, Christ Jesus.  The Bible tells us that "all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God". Rom. 3:23  We are all sinners.  As a sinner we deserve death, separation from God. "The wages of sin is death." Rom 6:23  But God provides a way for us to be saved, " that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."
